Does anyone know of a way to edit the range of the Ultravision ability? Seems that there's no way to affect unit sight range via triggers either apparently... so Ultravision seems like the only way. I looked at the ability in the Object Manager but there's no property that affects the range increase it applies to units. I also looked at the NightElfAbilityFunc.txt from the war3.mpq file and there's even less to edit in there (only one line). Any ideas/suggestions/hacks? -Nicodemus |

I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that ultravision doesn't have a value on it's own, it just changes a unit's night sight radius to be the same as its day sight radius. I guess you should try that to see if it works ? |

Well I was starting to think that all Ultravision did was set both sight radii to the day-time value... Might there be a way around this? I eventually want a property to diminish sight range, if possible. -Nicodemus |
