I have decided to work on a Multiplayer Open RPG, seeing as how I haven't seen enough of these on Battle.net. These are the current features I've thought out for this map, but it's subject to change: - Able to reach level 150. - Able to class change with certain items. - After class change, all heroes have 5 spells, that can be leveled up to level 30. - Tons of quests, mosts of which can be completed 2 ways, a good way or an evil way, and depending on how you complete quests, you will slowly get more good, or more evil. - Able to play as the Blood Elves, Orcs, Night Elves, Golems, Furbolgs, Gnolls, Undead, Pandaren, Draenei and Naga. - A total of 100 custom heroes and counting. - A total of 450 custom spells and counting. - The more evil or good you are through quests, the more different the game turns out to play. You can only do certain quests when you are really good, or really evil, you can only get certain items that way, access certain areas, and much more features. How does that sound? As I go along I'm adding more, but that's all I got for now. Is it a good idea or should I just drop the whole thing? |

Sounds good. I could help you out. and heres a tip. Please dont make ur map turn out like Rauels Open RPG...god it sucks so much its not even a RPG. |

Yeah, right now I'm just getting the spells and some of the heroes done before I get too far on the terrain, so it'll still be a while until I actually get further on this map. I only started this map recently and I just want some advice before I get too far on it. Help is always appreciated. |

My advice is. on the heros dont just pick heros and leave them like they are, play with them abit...change thir names and add different possibliltys to them you know and also use different unit models for heros too. Thats allways fun. Like my best custom hero I did was like a Sqarpion based off Anu'brak |

I agree with Mordrag about Reul's RPG... Tips: try to make atleast most of the spells custom.. A map that just uses a few custom spells and most default gets boring real fast. I like the reputation idea, it sounds interesting.. Well, thats all I can think of right now, Good Luck! :D |

Yeah, I've already done a bit of that already. Most of the beginning heroes are the Peons of that race with no abilities, then when they find certain items from enemies, they can class change in to other units of their race, such as Undead Acolytes being able to class change in to Necromancers. |

Yeah, I'm planning on making every hero spell custom, if possible. Much more replayability, and it makes the map more interesting. I've seen maps with the plain old regular spells, and they get pretty boring fast... :bgrun: |

Wow! the whole idea sounds great, I would love to make my own online RPG but to live up to all the great thigns that all the people on here can do seems to much work for me, hehe too lazy:ggani: well gl on this its a reall cool idea :D |

Thanks. I've decided to take out Trolls, due to lack of unique Troll units, and added in Furbolgs, Golems and Gnolls instead. I'll post more information here as it becomes availible. |

The maximum level is 100 is it not? |

The Maximum level is 3754 if you leave experience as it is, but it can go up to 10000 if you edit the experience you have for each level. Basically, it's not really a "level" cap, just an experience cap. But with that, the highest it can go is 10000. |
