![]() Edit: Sorry about this.. made a mistake. Thanks again to the people in my last thread, but now I want to know how to work this. The only things I don't know is like the target attachment points, and how to use them. The only one I know is origin, but I would appreciate it if someone gave me a full explanation of how to use everything from 'Caster Attachment Point 1' to 'Art-Target Attachments.'; besides the obvious things. Thanks... |

Some spells have buffs that attach to units ex. like bloodlust. Bloodlust attaches to the left and right hand. Attachment points are just the different places the want each target art at. The different places u can attach them to is Attachment Point Names: overhead (floats over the unit's head, but doesn't sway with the head as it animates) head (sways with the unit's animation) chest origin (usually at the base of a unit's feet) hand foot weapon (for heroes) sprite (for buildings) medium (for buildings) large (for buildings) Attachment Point Modifiers: left right mount (for mounted units) rear (for quadrupeds) first (for buildings) second (for buildings) third (for buildings) fourth (for buildings) fifth (for buildings) sixth (for buildings) rallypoint (for buildings) |

That took care of a lot of my questions, but how would I make it so if I make an ability, suppose someone throws a 'Magical Spear' and when it hits the target, it does an animation; eg. explodes. |

Usually the explosion part is part of the missile. Like for the mortar missile the explosion is its death animation. Storm bolt has an effect when it hits because it is it's death animation. You can maybe use triggers to make explosions if u want. |

Okay I understand now...but I tried to use the special art attachment for my Bloodlust skill, I used Banish for the special attachment, and for S.A. Point I put hand. I try the skill in the game, and I get nothing! :bangH: |

ehh, sorry bloodlust wasnt a good example because it gfx are in the buffs. You dont put the target attachements in special art because it takes it off target art. An example is an aura, u can have maybe more gfx attach to other points. |

So I could have an aura, and use that same banish thing I used on my bloodlust skill, and it would work? |

yes i think so, just add it to target art not special art and add an attachment point to it |

Hey Nemesis, I got the hang of it, but how do I make it so the animation goes to both hands? 0_o |

Art - Target Attachment Point 1: hand,left Art - Target Attachment Point 2: hand,right |
