Wrong forum ;) Well, there's three options. 1--Use Mannaroth's Earthquake, which i believe is button pos. 2,0 This will either override or be overridden by Far Sight. 2--In RoC, u can use WinMPQ or the like to extract the files from war3.mpq. Then find either Units\UndeadAbilityFunc.txt or Units\OrcAbilityFunc.txt, and change the button post of either Inferno or Earthquake. In order to have all 5 spells available, I'd change the button post of one of them to (1, 1) (so that's it's next to Patrol command) 3--In TFT, just make a custom spell that's exactly the same as either Inferno or Earthquake (or just edit the normal spell, but that will effect all Earthquake & Inferno spells in ur map), give THAT one to Thrall, and change the button pos. to (1,1) or something. Hope that helps; sorry 4 spelling and such , im in a rush (leaving in a few minutes and i still gotta pack). EDIT: If i remember right, Earthquake should be 2,0 not 0,2 |

i did try rearranging the button positions in orcabilityfunc.txt so that it will override the spell i was trying to get rid of but it didnt change. if theres a different method to spell editing from blizz campaigns to map making then i might be doing something wrong because what i'm trying to do is play the single player campaign(blizz campaign) with the modified spells. i have roc |

Alright, so are u trying to completely override Far Sight, or do u still want it available? If you want to get rid of Far Sight, just delete Far Sight from Thrall's ability list and give him Earthquake (Mannaroth) instead. If you still want Far Sight, change the button position to (1,1) (or whatever's right next to Patrol, can't remember button positions :P) I hope that helps. |
