Imposing item limits on players

Hi, I tried to post this last night but for some reason it did not go through.

How can I impose a limit on a certain item in a hero's inventory. In my hero arena map, I want to limit the players to having, say, one Glove of Haste each. How can I do this?

Theres no direct way to do it. You have to set up an equipment system via triggering.

Can´t you just set the Glove of Haste´s Stock Maximum to 1 ?

That only lets you buy one Gloves of Haste from an item shop, not from a monster or reward.

Can anyone give me a guideline or pointers on how I could set up such an equipment system via triggers? I have no experience whatsoever making triggers for items.
