How about having him drag a merchant building around? Move the building to the just behind the unit. Unit move (building) to (point with polar offset) units position offset by 100 towards units facing + 180 |

You could always use the Goblin Merchant, then set its Model and Sound Set as whatever unit you want. Or if you want the unit to be able to move around, you could try giving it the "Select Hero" and "Shop Item Purchase" ablities, but I'm not sure if those work correctly. |

Hmm ok... But for example do you know DOTA? How did that guy do it? If u played the map you know what I mean... In that map, you buy items from a unit not buildings. I want to do that as I have no room to play big buildings Thanks for your help. :D |

Give the unit Select Hero ability. Add items to its item sold properties. |

I believe, in DotA, that those units were actually just buildings with their models and pathing changed, but I could be wrong. At any rate, that'd be the easiest way. Alternatively, as mentioned, if you give a unit the shop abilities and give it some Items Sold or Units Sold, it will behave as a merchant. However, the Items Sold and Units Sold abilities are not natively available to units, only to structures. You'll have to alter the UnitMetaData.slk file and place it in your Units\ folder in the Warcraft III\ directory. Actually, since I already did this, I'll just attach the file for you. This file does not need to be inserted into the map in any way. It simply tells the WE what fields to make available for which units. |
