Hi, I was just wondering if it was possible to make towers rotate. For example, I'm making a Tower Defense map using units such as heroes as the models. So far they attack fine, with the animations working correctly, but I was wondering if it was possible to make them turn and face the enemy whilst attacking them. Can this be done whilst still making the unit a structure? |

Hm, Night Elf Ancients rotate when attacking rooted, so I guess it can be done. Just check how Ancients attack is done. |

Create a unit hidden in map with an infinite range polymorph that can target buildings (may require other targets as well can't remember but it does work) and lasts 1 second. When you want a tower to rotate, have it cast polymorph on the tower, then trigger rotate the sheep, and when it returns to a tower it will be rotated. |

Hi, I managed to do it. I just entered values for Movement - Speed Base (eg. 40) and Movement - Turn Rate (eg. 0.40) It works fine...they face enemies when they attack now. |

Hmmm, looks like it doesn't work as well as I thought. I was testing my map out with some of my friends, and one of them gave shared control of the tower units. The units that were under shared control started moving to attack the enemy. The funny thing is though, if my towers moved, I couldn't move them back, but my teammate could because I gave him shared control. Any ideas? |
