list files problems

Starswifter	i have long time wantet to make my own spells (now i can after reading yours tutorials). i have downloaded the listfiles and extract them to my decktop, open the folders it have made and all the txt files is gone....it looks like it only have made folders, not copied the files. what is wrong and what to do???:(

BlacKDicK	If youÂ´re using MPQVIEW to extract the files from the MPQ then the Storm.dll that comes with the mpqview "may" be outdated. Copy the Storm.dll from the WAR3 folder and place it in the MPQVIEW folder.

Starswifter	nothing happens when war3.mpq even after i updatet storm.dll ... can it be my .mpq files that is damaged??

BlacKDicK	You MPQs can me corrupted, but I think this is not the problem. If they were corrupted, W3 would not work then, wich makes me think the problem is another. 1) Download listfiles here: http://www.zezula.net/download/listfiles.zip 2) Unpack it. Move the TXTs to the MPQVIEW folder. 3) Open MPQVIEW, then go to menu File->Open data file and then select the war3 listfile.

BlacKDicK	Starswifter, those listfiles I posted here are actually created by Ladislav and Starcraftfreak is helping him, so the SCFreak listfiles are included within the Ladislav sources.

Starcraftfreak	It's because mine are more for professional use. I create for every MPQ file a separate listfile. Ladik does the same, but merges them into one.
