I need help with this skill!

I want to make an ability where my hero hits an enemy, and when he hits the enemy it effects other enemies around him. I tried basing it off of Orb of Annihilation, but the animation didn't seem to work. Can someone please tell me which animation slot to fill in to make it so when he hits an enemy it makes that animation to that unit and the other units around it? (Similar to TOB's)

You could try setting the Art-area of effect to mirror image special.

Create a unit variable named xyz

E- a unit issue order to a object
C- issued order equals to (order(attack)) and unit type equals {insert your unit here}
A- set 'xyz' to target unit of issued order
A- pick every unit in (unit within{insert rangehere} of ('xyz') matching (((picked unit) belong to an enemy of owner of (trigger unit))) equals to true and do actions
---Loop action
-create sfx (insert animationhere) on origin of picked players
-more sfx here if you want..


now the animation part is done... however, It will not do any dmg to nearby units.... I've based orb of annliation to deal splash dmg but does no splash dmg (I've set it to hero skill) havent tried to set it to a unit skill to see if splash works..

does any1 know what skill to modify to get the splash dmg?? I've tried flame arrow, cold, orb annination.. none of them deals splash dmg.. only cleaver works but I need the skill to be autocastable...because I want a "seering arrow" and a "splash arrow" on 1 hero.. putting cleaver on that hero will ensure that seering arrow will not work.... any way around this?? i know I missed somethin carelessly =(

*EDIT* i guess I could use the trigger to set life of pick units to -10 or something.. but doin it that way means its always gona be consistant. =(

Junithorn, I didn't ask for your little comments, got that? Did I even say, "This skill is hard to do!"? No. I didn't even ask if it was hard. So really, I don't need to hear it.

you go test it for yourself....... unless your implying that mastermind's method work...(which I've tested and it doesnt work) be thankful to ppl who help pplz out... my method works....

I didn't mean to offend you or anything...it just seemed like you were trying to dig a hole with your fingers when there is a shovel right next to you. Your way probably works, but I just test my skill based on what Junithorn said (cleaving attack) and it works perfectly.

You got the animation to work??? my trigger is used to show any animation on targeted units around the attacking unit or target unit.....

If you are implying that the splash dmg works with cleaver.. I know that......(that was the purpose of the spell)
