[edit]: Sorry folks, should be a reply to: RPGs - Geez, practically every genre is taken... I'm going for mini-games...

"what is Galaga"? Yikes man... just... yikes. OK, so everyone isn't as old as me either I guess... no worries.

Well if you're dead-set on a Time Crisis game go nuts... but I was thinking that an old-school RPG similar to the very early King's Quest (or 'whatever' Quest by Sierra) would be cool. One where you stay in Cinematic mode all the time and just view static screens moving your character around in an angled side-scrolling type view. Commands movement and basic stuff like "open" or "activate" would be the right click option... for the rest just entering text information. the WCIII engine isn't too robust for picking up on some of this stuff, but even checking for substrings in an entered string from the player could work.
i.e. Player > "Jump on bed"
Game response > "I'd better not jump in here"
or Game response > "Maybe not, but I think I see something underneath..."
Player > "Look bed"
Game response > "You look under the bed to find... your socks!"

Yeah, you get the idea anyway.
