I don't understand how to use it, and the readme file for it doesn't help. I guess my real problem is, not knowing the difference between what the "MPQ Archive" is meant to open and the listfile is meant to open. Then of course I'll probably have tons of problems extracting, importing, and replacing, but that's for a different thread. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you. |

You seem to be one who would love WinMPQ. Try it. If you don't know where to get it, check my FAQ. |

Thank you, for my first project, and I hope it's an easy one, I'm going to change the starfall target animations. I opened the starfall txt file and looked at the wierd symbols 0_o. At the top I noticed these .blp's. Now to change those animations to a lightning bolt doodad, would I look up the doodad animation lightning bolt and switch the .blp's. Then add the edited starfall txt to the mpq with a different name? Please tell me that's correct. Or wait, is it easier and all I have to is import that edited txt file into the w3x map I'm working on? So many questions, and I'm so confused. Thank you again, and I'm sorry for bothering you. :D |

Which TXT did you edit? I guess what you mean, but I am a bit confused. |

Sorry about the confusing post. I figured out what I needed to know. I'm still stumped on some things though. Here's one problem that comes to mind. How do I make 3 custom spells that all branch off one spell, for example fan of knives, with 3 different animations. Say having 3 spells that would be. Blade Storm: 3 glaives going each way. Frenzy of Spears: 3 spears or arrows going each way. Fan of Knives: Well, ya know. Is that possible? I already posted this question elsewhere, but I figured I should ask you since you've been most generous in showing me Win MPQ. ![]() |

Create new spells based of this spell in the Object Editor and modify them to fit your needs. |
