well, heres a work around:
give the building a null model so its invisible, when it finishes building give it a unique custom value, in the same trigger create a destructable or special effect and tag it with the custom value reference, if its a destructable, make it invincible so it cant be cut down, when the building dies, use the custom value reference to kill/remove the special effect or destructable, if the building can be built a lot, i would suggest adding a destructable/SE cap so that it will begin to reuse reference values if they're not in use (aka its been destroyed already)
