How can I make a wall chunk or single tree buildable?

I have tried basing the tree around a moonwell. But when I go to change it and select trees from destructables, they are there, but invisible. I select the trees and when I place the moonwell it gives me some error about an mdl not found.

The tree model does not come with a texture... Thus it is invisible.

A few solutions are:

Use a unique tree model that comes with a texture.

Eat pie.

A lot of bakeries have pre-made pies that you can pick up without ordering first. I'd try there.

And they aren't half-bad either.

Although I can't tell you exactly where to find one, I can say that looking randomly through the menus yields good results.

well, heres a work around:

give the building a null model so its invisible, when it finishes building give it a unique custom value, in the same trigger create a destructable or special effect and tag it with the custom value reference, if its a destructable, make it invincible so it cant be cut down, when the building dies, use the custom value reference to kill/remove the special effect or destructable, if the building can be built a lot, i would suggest adding a destructable/SE cap so that it will begin to reuse reference values if they're not in use (aka its been destroyed already)

Have you tried making a building like an Ancient Protector, giving it the tree model, then removing its attack and everything? That's the only solution I can see.
