Guest | I've seen a few threads on this subject doing a search, but there doesn't seem to be much consensus. If I take a normal unit and set its scale to 2.00, the unit then seems to move through trees and other objects. I have done this with a ghoul on a new RPG map I'm doing, and when it attacks enemy units, it's right on top of them swinging its arms over their heads. Collision size doesn't do anything. Is this an enhanced editor bug? Will it be fixed? Is there some other way to get the unit to back off? Hmm... |

it does do stuff... 0.00 collision size = units able to be placed on top of eachother in the editor |

Guest | When I'm scaling stuff I use the same multiplier for Collision size and Selection circle as I use for the actual size. Eg. if the size is 1.00, selection 1.50 and collision 32.00 by default, and I want to set size to 0.50, I set the other two to 0.75 and 16.00 (both divided by 2 as well) or the like. It works except for the shadow which seems to disappear once you modify it. |

Guest | It seems scaling down works okay, but when scaling up, changing collision doesn't help. Setting it to 1000 or 40 seems to be the same thing. |

Guest | I only know scaling up is a pain in the arse when scaling dragons and other flying units. You always end up having them clip with the ground because of the stupid movement height limit. |

Guest | After playing around with it some more, it looks like collision size works in the editor -- if I set it to like 150, I can't move the unit anywhere near the trees or other units. But in the game, no matter how high it is, the unit still goes nose-to-nose with the enemy. So, I guess any value over 48 (which appears to be the highest default collision) is ignored by the game, or isn't saving right in the editor. :( |

Guest | I've installed the Enhanced Editor, but have trouble finding the scaling and collision size options. Where are they exactly? |

Guest | Dude, all you have to do is change the attack range. |
