ok i have a new map in development called AoS Reign of Fire so far i have most of the terrien done and one Good hero

this is what i have that is different
1. heros have a unique starting item that cannot be droped or sold
2. portals that send u back to base but require a key to use
3. different items for each of the teams
4. a unique way of picking
5. changed damedge of seige on fort armor.

now here is my first hero for the good side

Master shamen Item- Shamen claws gives extra intel and mana and small attack bonus

bloodlust
lvl 1 10% attack speed
lvl 2 20%
lvl 3 30%
lvl 4 40%
lvl 5 50%
endurence aura
lvl1 5% attack speed 10% movement speed
lvl2 10 % 20%
lvl3 15% 30 %
lvl4 20% 40%
lvl5 25% 50%
clone
lvl1 20% damedge
lvl2 40%
lvl3 60%
lvl4 80%
lvl5 90%
strom earth and fire
lvl1 splits shamen into strom shamen earth shamen and fire shamen
lvl2 does same just stronger
lvl3 just stronger

Hmm, does this Hero only have 3 passiv Skills and Storm/Earth/Fire ?

the unique way of picking is gonna start like this

chose a class magic range fighter (in a menu) then another menu apears whith however many there are in that class with discript in a menu
ok and the 5. that is how much damedge seige does vs units has been lowed but to buildings it has been raised (there wil be more like this in the end)

and the 18 lvl bit works real well 5 normal skills is good and 3 top skills work with the 5 if u give me another number that i think works well i may do that

no the bloodlust is a spell and so is clone its like mirrow with an attack

I feel as if these spells aren''t really being customized, more so just changed minimaly :(.

I'll add sum spells I like in a bit. I g2 reformat windows ME now.

this is my first atemp at a map and i think they serve my purpose u make me a spell and ill see where i can put it

The spells may fit your purpose but they seem....wel boring and if a map has boring skills I don't think I would play it :( but if you need help with skills I can try and think up some so long as I know what the heroes are going to be like.

edit: at the very least change the skills names and give them different icons.

most will have different names but i have to make them and so that ppl know what they are also im thinking of changing some of the attack types icons if anyone comes up with a spell ill find a hero to put it on


ther are 2 teams good and evil each have 5 fighters 5 casters and 5 ranged units

Well... I really don't know how you'd do it since you are using a dialog box(if I'm not mistaken :P), but what I'm doing, which makes it alot easier for me, is have (my map is an AOS too) differen't heroes spread across their teams side, and the farther away the hero is, who knows, maybe the better they are :D, but back to you, I have it like this so that I can just end the trigger once someone steps on the region or whatever I want it to be at the time, and then deletes it and all. <---the ye olde fashion way, yet works every time :).

About these spells...

(I like this one, but I would spice it up with triggers-add special effects to units...blah blah blah, heh)
Mana Depletion Aura
Level1 - 1 mana per second drained off enemy units and heroes.

Level2 - 3 mana per second drained off enemy units and heroes.

Level3 - 5 mana per second drained off enemy units and heroes.

I would base it off brilliance aura then change the buffs to effect enemies and make the mana regeneration become a negative number, which results in taking away the target's mana. (obviously lol)

One special effect I would add to it would be, this is on the units its effecting, the devotion aura target, or whatever you want. (I can't look now cause I just finished formatting and all, and yet, warcraft 3: TFT's BNet wont let me play ladder cause all I get is friggin fatal errors -.-)

Yet anyway, just 1 idea. If ya need more, visit my site and e-mail me, and whenever I have time, I could make some for you.

well im gonna work on some real custom spells and with the anti brill aura im gonna change the icon so its that wand thing but its purple (i hope) also that will be in an item (the antimagic guys a few posts up) but it wont be to strong for the item
