Ludeleth Campaign (Not taking place in Azeroth)

Well, here goes. I have a new campaign idea for which I have already designed a custom loading screen and plot and am currently working on a trailer for. I will need LOTS of help to see this through. I'll list some jobs I need at the moment.

Skinning—New units/doodads

Map Makers—Someone who is really good with making breathtaking and eye-catching work.

Triggerers—Triggering is something I still struggle with. Someone who is really good with triggers would have lots of fun with this project.

AI-Editors—I hate AI because I can't get it to work properly, hah! If anyone knows how to do this fairly well, once we get some maps going they will be quite busy!

Etc. Etc.—Custom mini-maps? Website designer? Custom sky-designer? Want to make water into lava? Any talent you think you have that would be useful to us on this project? E-mail me at [email protected] or reply to this forum with the following: what you can work on and your AOL account/Warcraft III account name (realm too mind you, and if it isnt already listed in your account specifications)

*NOTE—I work on a Macintosh. Just in case someone sends me files.

Hope to see some responses so we can get the campaign on its feet!

I apologize for not including this in the original post, but when I went to edit, choosing a file wasnt included. I will show you a picture of the map I have crafted to show you a little of what I can do for the campaign myself.

What kind of skinning do you do? Units? Doodads? Destructibles? Other things? If you want to email me a picture of something you've done my e-mail is posted above (make sure the image isnt bigger than 1 MB if you do.)

I'm right now deciding if I should redo the trailer (mainly due to a new tileset and the recreation of scenery) Once a few more people [hopefully] sign up we'll schedule a time for everyone to meet on AIM (if you don't have AIM I suggest you get it, it's free after all) and we can discuss where the project is going to be headed and what maps/cins/etc we are working on at the moment.

Also, a narrator is going to be needed (voice of course) for the trailer. I don't have the lines ready yet, but before we send out the trailer to the public this position needs to be filled. Try to sound narrator-like (like Galadriel at the beginning of the first LoTR movie)

Thanks,

I can give you trigger help, but won't be able to do triggers for you (building my own campaign). Also, if you require any skin, feel free to ask.

I was going to post a picture or two of the trailer but I kept getting "this image is too big, must be 800x600. I want to paste the actual image in the post, but the pictures are on my computer and the IMG function says it requires an http address. What do I do?

Oh, krzy, I might have a few units for you to skin soon…_PM me and I can give you the details.

I'm thinking of doing the music on my piano. The song wouldn't be original but I thought it would be cool if I would be playing it myself. What do you guys think?

Thanks,

Okay, here is a picture I took in the WE. I shrunk the size of the trees to make the mountains look bigger (though I need to still shrink that stag upon it.) How do you think it looks?

Those bushes are a bit too big compared to the trees (you've already mentioned the stag yourself) but otherwise, it looks good. Make an overflight with camera, showing a small village on the other side, then jump to "village streets" and you'll have an excellent opening.
