When I make my cinematic, I never hear any of the sounds of the combat when the units fight.. Well I do, but its very very faint, it might just be something wrong with my sound card, but its really annoying because I can't continue my cinematic without sound.. :(

I'm not 100% sure, but perhaps you could try adding an event that makes the sound effects volume 100%

its in the sounds under sound channels i think. you can try it. I'm really not sure though.

I can't remember witch it is, but useing letterbox mode will disable all combat sounds and cinematic mode will play them. (It could be the other way around)

Do not use

Cinematic - Turn Cinematic Mode ON

but use

Cinematic - Enable Letterbox Mode
Cinematic - Disable Player Control for All Players

That should do it :D

Yeah thats what I just did now it works, but I don't think I had to disable player 1's control... But anyway, thanks.

Yes, this is one of the most important peices of advise that I give to people, and so many STILL don't do it. Cinematic mode kills all ambient, combat, etc sounds, even halves music volume. I learned back in teh days of IC that Letterbox alone was far better, and I've tried to convince everyone else too lol.

Another way is. . . double click on the sound in the sound editor and uncheck '3d sound'. Then it should work.
