Animated BLP's/Splash Screens?

Hey, sorry if this has been asked before, but I kinda wanna make a Splash Screen that animates, as the title of the topic so aptly explains for itself. Is it possible to create such an effect? I'm guessing that BLP's can be animated because of the animations that take place in the game itself. Wait...Just checked and realized those are mdx files. Aw damn, well how do minimaps work then?

Just wondering if this is possible, if not, I be fr@ked.

This would take a load of space and time so it prolly isnt worth it, but you could do what cartoons do and change it a little bit at a time, and importing it useing Drax's JASS method.
