skinning question plz answer

35263526	I've been doing some basic skinning and have a question. Is the black area that surronds the contents invisible? If so, could I cover certain areas of the skin with back to make them look invisible on the model?

lordwiggin	ok 1 wrong forum and 2 yes u can take certian parts out its called alphaing(sp?) go to the skinning forum to find out how(its below this forum like 5 down atleast on my browser)
