It seems that some of you are already trying to figure out how to open these MDX files up, I surely couldn't do anything with my skills in C++ but... I have a question. Isn't there at least a editor that can open and export a model without animations and such? Just the model and nothing more.. Why I am asking is simply because I'm trying performance issues for my mod and I don't know how it will behave with the amount of faces I have on the meshes. Yes there are MDX->OBJ, MDX->ASC, MDX->MAX, etc, look here: http://kmkdesign.8m.com/downloads/ You'll notice a mdx format spec, it has basic structures for most of the chunks in the MDX format. Come to the IRC channel and ask about mdx, we know most of the format cept the weird stuff like CAMS an Particle emitters among other things. |
