I am making a multiplayer mod which rebalances quite a number of things and gives races new things to play with. For example, all buildings except farms and tower types take twice as long to construct... Tier 2 and 3 town hall type buildings you'll be able to re-search defensive additions to them, such as soul drain for the Necropolis or Bombardment shells from the castle. Each race will be able to build their own sea port with each having a unique appeal to their ships. Such as night elven ships gaining the shadow meld ability and undead ships regerating HP over time. Each race has three spefic things about them enhanced, such as night elves having their archers improved and the orcish catapults being improved. Each race has 2 new upgrades and each race has a few new additions.. The humans now have three new tower types which are upgraded to from previous tower types, such as a guard tower upgrading into a lightening tower. And the ability to research air ships The orcs can build Ogre Maulers and goblin sappers and can research the ability to chaos posses one of their units for a duration of time"cast from the fortress" Undead now have sky barges with an upgrade to make them invisible for a period of time a new tower type called a soul tower, upgraded from a Ziggaraut which drains life, and building zombie units. The night elves have runner scouts, very very quick and the ability to learn shadow meld for some building types as well as an upgrade to improve the HP and damage of all ancient's. There are also a few other things for each race I have not mentioned but that about covers the most important things. The burning Legion and Naga will also be expanded and a playable race with 3 hero types. Though these races will have less buildings, units and 1 less hero. There will be enough for those two races to be considered playable.. They are expanded to be about the size of the pre frozen throne races... The burning legion will have there own unique buildings, such as blood fountains, the skull shrine, two demonic portals and more... I have completed the most of th work for all 4 base races and entirly finished the Naga and will be finishing the Legion shortly and release it to the public. I have encountered two problems... I want the drayds to be able to build trees or turn into trees permanently... Problem is I can't find a visible graphic for trees in destructables... My other problem is getting the chaos possess ability to work, the spell is cast from the Orc fortress and is suppose to turn a target grunt into a fel orc, or a raider into a fel raider... But I can't get the trigger working... I have been talking to a few people about it in the thread below and so far have had no luck in finding triggers to make this work. |
