As u know, I was working as a modeller/skinner in Tainted Blood, but it's down now, I don't know if it is going anywhere, so I've desided to start my own mod.
The idea of the mod appeaer loooong time ago, and now finally start it. The only thing that I have for now is an old crappy map and few skins. I used to remake that map, I made a really coool terrain, began working with some new systems (for example, a new inventory system - u can put on armor, take weapon and stuff and it will affect the hero's appearence in the game!) but my wc3 folder was destroyed and a lot of stuff is gone, including that map. :( So, for now I can't offer u something really spectacular, now u have just to believe me - it's gonna be cool!
Actually I can do most types of work by myself (story writing, skinning, modelling, terraining, triggering, slk editing.......) but... just imagine, how can I make a mod all by myself!!!
It's not going to be set in wc3 universe. It is a totally new world with almost everything new. Ofcause it means tons of new models, skins, spells, maybe even terrains. And also there will be a lot of stuff that is usual for an RPG game but in wc3 it has never been done before! Oh, yes, it's gonna be an PRG mod. Well, not 100% RPG, it will have strategy elements too.
The story of TotG is about a war between united forces of the world of Thaeron against creatures of 3 evil worlds which are going to kill the gods of Thaeron and take their places, and by this way concuer this world. The creatures that we are going to find are fiery demons, the shadows - children of the Eternal Night, and the Damned.
I strongly need to gather a good team, cuz it's an ambitious project and I won't be able to handle it all by myself! And I don't want it to become 'just another dead project'. So, anyone who want to join or just can offer some help can PM me or post here or in the mod's forum.
The most needed people for now are:
- someone who can
make a site, cuz that's where I'm a real n00b;
- a
concept artist (artists);
- a
good terrainer;
- a
trigger guy (preferably knowing JASS, but that's not a neccessity);
As it's only the beginning, I can do skinning/modelling by myself, but it's REALLY a lot of work needed, so, ofcaurse I need
skinners/modellers (the more - the better), but I don't think that anyone of them has a lot of free time. :bgrun: But I keep hoping... The same case is with
cinematics. I CAN make ones (and not bad ones, have u seen HoE?) but, like I said, I can't do everything by myself.
Oh, and just maybe to add some interest, here's a pic af the skin (with some minor model editing) that I'made just for fun but that is going to be in TotG. It's a Black Elf. Check it out.
