In 1.02 it looks like AbilityData.slk and UpgradeData.slk can now be placed inside map files. Good to see they're listening to us! Oh yeah.

Hows about the color blps or the units\miscdata.txt WhATEVER I'm Gonna try it Kick *** great work!

Edit:
I'm having No success with it man. I added an abilitydata.slk which makes blizzard 5 mana and last for 10 waves at level 1. No EFFECT. Are you positive you didn't load file the map?

Why would using loadfile on the map have any effect on whether or not things work?

All it does is the equivalent of F9 in the World Editor. Are you absolutely sure it helps in any way?

Yes becuase when you do loadfile the game loads the map first into memory so its like MAP-PATCH MPQ-MPQ. Since none of the files can be preloaded that way.

maybe you forgot to set "allow local files" to 0

tested and confirmed NOT to work

Damn. Sorry guys. I was sniffing their load sequence, and it looked like it was loading these files same way that the unit files were getting loaded. They definately changed it from the last patch, but it looks like they left something out. My mistake. I'll try to be more careful next time. Sorry to get your hopes up.
