Found a way to open TFT campaign maps

Ok some of you might have already known this but here is how u open the TFT campaign maps

--Open winMPQ

--Then open the war3xlocal.mpq

--then you will see a list of all the TFT campaigns to open it in the world editor just double click it..


its really simple, i just thought i would share this cause i had no clue how to do this up untill earlier today...it helps alot in case u were wondering how blizzard did some of there stuff.

too bad this no longer works cuz blizzard too out the listfile from the mpq on version 1.12, altought a lot of people knew already how to do this im sure it would have helped some newbs out.

hmm, well i dont know what u are talking about cause i have 1.12 and it works fine for me and everybody else i have come across and told...so maybe next time u shouldnt be so ignorent on the facts you state.:nono:

I'm still running 1.11 on this comp and I don't see the listfile, any help?

Edit: Doh, I should learn to read. I wasn't using winmpq

Yeah I opened up war3local and took out all of the campaign maps. Its a good source for learning a few things, plus you can extract the ending song =).

Its really usefull, once id completed some of the Blizz campaign missions id go through them on WE and look at stuff, which really helped, you learn loads of stuff.

well you REALLY thought wrong, we arent all as "experienced" as u are...>=P

I don't know how "experienced" you have to be to load up WinMPQ. People have been extracting things (including the campaign maps) from the MPQs since the beginning.

well if already know about this then stfu, i dont care, i didnt post this thread for you...i posted it for the people who didnt know.

I don't have 1.12. I installed the required crap to use winmpq and I actually used winmpq. What did I do wrong?!

WinMPQ blows... Use WC3Explorer, Thats far better, I love that program... Go Get it!! Now!!! It doesnt need all the stupid stuff to run like WinMPQ does
