I'm new and rather interested in this skinning process, so i downloaded the wc3 viewer, and started to read some tutorials (btw, could someone point me to a good tutorial dealing with the wc3 viewer) anyways, i was wondering where the Frozen Throne heroes and units are, those are more interesting than the ones now, is there any way to skin those just yet or no? Thanks! |

You can get help on the W3V help file, or you can always ask your questions to me. |

Don't forget there are search functions both with War3viewer and Image Extractor 2. For just skins I prefer Image Extractor, War3viewer can be buggy. Good for models though. |

Lol, funny im asking this question because of your map, well i figured it all out and such, i got em both and prefer war3viewer, im sure the other is just as easy. I would like to know how you got that Blademaster a weapon on his other arm though, would come in handy. |

I have the newest version. The problem I have with it is the damn thing will decide to just close the Treeview window sometimes and I can't get it back. Hard to browse .mpq's like this, while Extractor still can. Unfortunately when this happens neither of them can browse my harddrive, and having to open every file individually when you're looking for something is just annoying. |

Like I said, it doesn't work. I know what I'm doing. Another small bug it has, when the treeview actually works, is giving me an error because I have no floppy (A:) drive. |

Oh that's weird. Can you explain how does it happen so we can reproduce this and fix the bugs? |

I wish I knew. It worked fine for a week or two, then the treeview suddenly vanished. I've reinstalled (redownloaded and reunpacked, anyway) the program 5 or 6 times, and sometimes the treeview will come on, sometime it will never show up. The A: problem you can probably replicate just by unplugging your own, booting up and running the program. It doesn't stop you from being able to browse your harddrive, it just gives you an error message. After you click cancel you can go ahead and browse away. |
