2-d skin

i have a normal picture i want to make a usable model art, and i want it still to be a 2-d picture in the game. How would i do that?

You'll have to get a model that is just a 2d pic. some attacks like the Shaman's shock could be used, but you would need to edit the model, to change the material's blending mode and the pathname to the skin picture you want.

i tryed taking the 2-d picture i had and changed it to a .blp and replaced the potofgold.blp but then it said the potofgold.mdx doesnt work.

The pic size must be a power of 2, like 1x1, 2x2, 4x4, 16x16, 32x32, etc.

i did make it 64x64, and it still said the .mdx didnt work when it was the .blp i edited.

im using a normal 2-d picture, im trying to do 2 things, one im trying to make the coin item my picture and then im taking another pic and trying to make units that pic.

An image is an image.

A model is a model.

A image is not a model.

Therefore, using an image as a model doesn't work.

You need to make a flat model and apply your texture to it.
