Firewall Spell

OK,
for my map I wanted to make a firewall spell. You know one like in diablo 2.

I think you have to do that in Jass :bgrun:

So can anyone help me out?

I think it´s possble without Jass, just the EXP gain might be a problem.
Creat a Dummy Spell based on a "targetting point" spell and create the fire doodad at the targeted point and some more with offset from this point.
Oh yes and create a region at those points for the damage.

Well I got the Learning spell and so on, and then in my actions:

Special Effect - Create a special effect at f_wall_target using Doodads\Cinematic\TownBurningFireEmitter\TownBurningFireEmitter.mdl

Thats all I got so far lol ;) I don't get that with offsets

ok hmm ;> damn why´s no one helping :////

Offset is fairly easy just play around till you have the right distance between each doodad.

-x = left
+x = right
+y = up
-y = down

Special Effect - Create a special effect at f_wall_target using Doodads\Cinematic\TownBurningFireEmitter\TownBurni
ngFireEmitter.mdl
Wait 0.2 sec
Special Effect - Create a special effect at (f_wall_target ) offset by (x, y)) using Doodads\Cinematic\TownBurningFireEmitter\TownBurni
ngFireEmitter.mdl

and so on... ;> good luck :D

I guess there is no way to make it so its..mmm...a line, where the caster is facing to?

Special Effect - Create a special effect at ((firewalltarget)) offset by 200.00 towards (Facing of (firewallcaster)) degrees) using fire.mdl

erm ye, now start from this point ... hmm na that would be to easy....
