Ok here's my problem, there are 4 "demon hunter" models in TFT. -Normal Demon Hunter -Demon Hunter after Metamorphasis (black model) -Illidan with Horns and Wings -Illidan after Metamorphasis (black model) What I'm trying to do is have a Demon Hunter use Metamorphasis to turn into 'Illidan with Horns and Wings' but no matter what I try I always end up with 'Illidan after Metamorphasis'. Does any one know how I can make a Demon Hunter use Metamorphasis and come out looking like Illidan with Horns and Wings? |

Yeah that's the first thing that I tried. It doesn't work. I just get Illidan after his metamorphasis. I think that the problem is in the model file. Here's what it looks like in the editor: Night Elf-Campaign-Heroes-Illidan(Evil) Art - Model File Illidan (Evil), Illidan (Morphed) For some reason the model seems to use the "Illidan (Morphed)" model if the unit is under the influence of Metamorphasis. I might be able to avoid this if I can find an Illidan (evil) model that doesn't have the "morphed" model attached to it. Sadly I can't find this in the preset units models so I'll have to use the custom model selection. That is where the problem lies now. I have no idea how to look for an Illidan (evil) model using the custom model selection. |

I think that if you edit the "Art-required animation names" strings you can deal with this problem, since if you want to make a castle unit model you have to use the strings "upgrade", and "second" I imagine you could have it access jsut the illidan file by seeing what required animation strings he uses for the horned and winged model. SO you would make a custom unit for it to turn into using the Illidan with wings unit, and the required animation names slot empty, so you delete the alernate, and alternateex strigns from there and it should use the illidan (evil) model. I think... |
