New Mod/Campaign/Other Stuff/Idea

Me again!

Ok, since noone is replying to my up for hire, thread I figured I would get my idea for my own mod.

I feel I have sufficent skills and need maybe minimum 2 or 3 people to help. And probably not 1 of those people until closer to the end.

First of all, I can do Unit Editing, Spell Editing (All the stuff under the button "unit editor") Triggers (Really good, I could make a Turn based system or close to it, I think thats pretty good, I am really not sure the standards in triggers now, but for just a campaign in this, I definetly could do it. And i got mad ideas, just never stopping. (I also design websites, so at least the mod could have a nice website eh?)

Ok, So basically I need skinners, modelers, and terrainers. So look at it this way, I am doing a little more than a 4th of the work! Well, unless you considering skinning and modeling harder than units n triggers, which it probably is, I could skin and model, but I couldn't draw those things on paper, to tell the truth I have trouble drawing a straight line with a ruler. (I still got an A in art class, cause he said I tried hard, and gave forth effort)

So anyway, your probably wondering by now, what I want to do. Well first of all, anything related to Blizzard, Azeroth, Arthas, Lich King, I AM NOT DOING. I also refuse to use any similar spells with new names, or units with the exact same stuff as the normal units. So that says what Im not going to do; here's what I want to do (This is just an idea, not a confirmation)


Basically, a New Race Mod, Done Before? Yeah I know... But, have you noticed all of the other race mods campaigns followed the Blizzard storyline? And all the races followed the little units Blizzard put in the Campaign? DID YOU? I sure as hell did, and I am a bitch on non-creativity. So your asking, What fool do you have a better idea? Yeah

Ok, My thing sort of follows the Blizz Line, Yet In a diff way it doesnt at all, or I could change it where it comes in no comparison.

My idea, is make a completely new Age of Warcraft. Blizzard did archers and swords. Lets do some Lazers, and stun-batons (LOL), The way I said this way related to Blizz, was if you guyz the majority vote was, we can make 3 or 4 new races, and just edit the current races to what they would look like 1,000 years later. The rifleman would have Rifle Blaster, and the Gyrocopters would shoot rapid fire lasers instead of those wussy flak cannons. Siege Tanks, would be A hover tank or something, which shoots homing rockers, with in-rocket mind controlling devices which explode the mind with secret lasers, Peons walk around with Mace, and peasants use shock Tasers. (GOD THAT WOULD BE FUNNY!) Or If we wanted, we could just change the current races to new stuff, and make a competely new storyline, and use none of the current units, or anything. So we either edit the current ones to more futureistic, and make 3 or 4 new ones. Or we just completely redo the current ones with a new storyline. The downside to using the current ones and making more, is we would most likely use the Blizz storyline and places, because all the units would look the same as original, unless we wanted to completely recreate current and make new, including new storylines.

What I mean by editing the current races, is basically taking them through a time machine, after their new nations founded, arthas kills illidan (Which shouldnt happen, blizz rigged it, illidan would have kicked arthass ***) and then just fastforwarding to 1000 years later, and then making 3 to 4 new ones, that joined those races, and soon devloped into nations.

I really dont have ideas for new races, maybe star wars LOL, (Acolytes with lightsabers, using force push to aviod wisp rushes! hahahaha)No not really but whatever, just sometin futuristic, skinning, modeling, new races or modeling and skinning the current ones, or both, whatever you guyz want.

Theres my nickel, please reply, criticize compliment, whatever u want to the idea, but whatever, as long as I know somebodies paying attention

well ill tell u one thing, modeling nonorganic tanks and robots and shit is hella easier than regular warcraft units

P.S:why did you leave the union??

Hmmmmmm, I have never hard of Warcraft 3000, I did see some Mod that did like 50 years later or something, but it was hardly any change, and they followed the exact Blizz storyline of what they happened 50 years later, and just edited the units so that they hd different clothes, didn't sound very interesting to me.

I left the Union because every piece of work somebody did, they didn't post it in a progress thread, everyone kept to themselves, I really don't think you can put a Mod toghther if everyone does their own thing. I also left because the people, where just slapping new names on spells and units, I mean the exact same spells with new names. I just didn't like it. So there's your answer.

Ok so modeling tanks and taser weapons would be easier, are you saying it would be easy for me to get modelers? I mean thanks for the reply guyz, but I was kind of looking for I hate/like your idea or i do/dont want to help. But anyway thanks tho.

Ummmm, What are you talking about with samurai? Hes the leader for the union, I was a member on that team, and even if hes gone, everyone was still posting crappy stuff, or not posting anything at all, to say what theyve done or need help with.

I can picture it now, warcraft 3 1000 years later.

Footmens will be using semi-automatic swords.

Riflemens will be using SMG's and wear a Kelvar Cloak.

Knights will be riding Robot Horses and be armed with Semi-Automatic Lances.

Mortar Teams will be transformed into a Mobile Missle Turret.

Gyrocopters will be transformed into Apaches that fire machine guns and drop bombs.

Sorceress will be turned into Prostitute Assassins that go into an enemy base and starts "doing" a unit and when there "doing it" the sorceress slits there neck.

Priests will be soldiers that hurl medicine pills and shoot out Neosporin. (Medicine to cure cuts)

Dragonhawk Riders will be jets that looks like a Wind Serpent and shoots out laser thingies.

Gryphon Riders will be airplanes that drop explosive hammers.

Ok guyz i appreciate all the ideas u r giving, but does anyone wanna actually help?
