Heres something for starters: A hero lays a ward, with the ability kaboom. Best to base it of sentry ward so it is invisible untill you choose to detonate it. If you want to get into some serious triggering maybe an AoE ensnare thing could work. Maybe a sort of "bomb" type power, it explodes, does some damage then does residiual damage over time. Ill think up some more and edit this post. |

-Pit trap with spikes. -Arrow trap where arrows shoot out from walls, or perhaps statues. -Big rolling rocks -Catapult trap that tosses you into the air or perhaps against a wall. -Whirlpool type trap if they are walking in water. -Crushing walls that close in. -Collasping tunnel -Blade trap=swinging blade from ceiling or moving across the floor -Fire pit trap -monster trap that releases a big rampaging creature or something to that affect. -Poison trap that weakens the target and well...poisons. -Broken weapon trap that disables the normal attack of a unit so they can only use abilities or perhaps the other way where an ability is disabled. -Ghost trap where undead attack and take away life. -A trap that destroys items -Undead trap where skeletons pop up and attack or perhaps a rodent attack where something has the burrow ability and pops up to attack. -Confusion trap where walking in one direction makes you move in another direction for a bit. -Ink in the eye which lowers sight range. -Stupid attack whichs makes the unit drop items when they try to use it. -Bloodletting trap that makes the target bleed unless they use a bandage or something of that sort, perhaps stops over time. Uhh...ok, just some ideas. |

a region with grass on it, and when a unit enters it, you trigger a terrain deformation (the whole region goes down a lot) |

Well these are supposed to be item traps, that you can lay. |

Just a side note: the only way to implement the "ink in the eyes trap" is to have copies of any and all units who MAY be affected by the trap. Each copied unit will then need to have its sight range reduced... there's no other way to do it (i.e. there are no triggers that will alter sight, and Ultravision is not modifiable using negative numbers. Traps: quicksand apply a height modifier to a unit and use TFT sand terrain from sunken ruins... (no idea if that's possible) |

He just said to list trap ideas, I didn't pay attention to if they were possible or not. :) -cyclone trap that well, sucks you into a cyclone -teleport trap that teleports you somewhere else -skeleton hand that grabs the target and pulls them under(makes them burrow) causes damage til the get out. |

Guest | And why not making a trap where you get caught in a web ? |
