This terrain editor seems clumsy and horrible, most of my problems come from adding water or adjusting the height transitions of areas slightly... for example there is a hill in the middle of shallow water... I am trying to get rid of the hill... When I add shallow water, it goes crazy, suddenly I have a pool sorrounded in cliffs with the the other water outside of it... Or I try and apply lower height on the hill and nothing happens, the water around the shore becomes very square and the hill doesn't dissappear, no matter what I do I cannot make the hill go away or replace it with shallow water and I encounter a lot of problems like this. |

ehmm have u edited on any slk, or txt files, that could be the reason..... i had a problem like this, i could make any cliffs at all... not raise or lower.... so i had to delete some txt files to make it work again... |

When stuff starts getting wierd with terrain the same level button usally helps. Sometimes it is hard to get what you want. Also experiment with taking out the "enfore water height" option (or something like that). |

the terrain editor is very strict which cliff terrain ur using to adjoin other areas, and everythng goes haywire if certain levels and cliffs dont match excluding different tiles used using one cliff to adjoin to the other cliff of the different style just cancels it out or...... ARGH, i also do not like the limits of the terrain editor, its annoying alot, its the main reason i am fond of ctrl + z (which is pressed to undo) |
