Help - Altering Frostmourne in the Arthas model

I'm attempting to alter the Frostmourne skin used in the Arthas with Sword model. (Importing to TFT - model changed to use new skins, i.e. not replacing the originals.)
Instead of displaying the new skin, it shows a team color glow. I've checked file paths in the editor, checked the alpha channel in the Frostmourne skin, and checked the file paths in the .mdl.
When I switch back to the original Frostmourne skin there are no problems. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?

Well, sometimes if you change the name of the texture in the model it is looking for, it will get an error with some file length check-sum or some other mumbo-jumbo like that.

Here is a copy of the model pointing to a new texture for Frost Mourne (I've tested this one and it works)

The new path is: Textures\FrostNMourne.blp

Hope this helps.

If you have any other questions of have any problems with the model, PM me.

Corrupted alpha channels. What program do you use?

I already checked that. I'm using the demo version of Adobe Photoshop. There is nothing wrong with the alpha channels, as far as I can tell. (It displays perfectly in War3Viewer, BTW.)

I have exactly the same problem, my skins and models show fine in the W3V, but in the WE they are either team colour glows or black models with plain team colour.

Try downloading the last version of it and reconverting the file.

Latest version of what? WC3? Have that.
WC3 Viewer? If the latest version is still 1.0.0.237, then I have that too. (If there's a newer version, where's a link? I'm not finding one in the WC3 Viewer thread.)
Adobe Photoshop? I have the demo of the latest version (Or at least the latest version for which a demo exists. I'm not quite ready to buy the thing.)

If it's 7.0, you either need 7.1 or the targa, neither of which I know for certain exist for the demo.

There is no 7.1, so I assume you meant 7.0.1. The update does not work for the demo, and the targa plug-in doesn't seem to have any effect on it. (I assume the demo simply ignores it.)
Is there something different about the Frostmourne skin that causes it to have problems? I've at least slightly edited eight other skins, none of which had any problems.
(Note: In some places the demo claims to be 7.0.1.)

The sword skin works the same way as the other ones, nothing special on it. If you want me to convert it for you you can either post it here or PM me about it.
