Hello, im making a map thats currently finished and ready for testing, but, to make it nice and fully polished, i would like to know how to replace the mini-map with a pic using WinMPQ for ROC maps. please help me, ive been trying for a long time with no success (i even f***ed up my map in some cases, but luckily i always make backup copies :D ) A step-by-step tutorial would be most appreciated, but if you dont have time just post the basic knowledge i need to know. BTW, i think u should make this a section in your tutorial page, it would be very useful seeing as how i checked and the tutorial area doesnt contain info about custom minimaps. |

Replace the war3mapMap.blp with your custom minimap image. Just make sure its 256x256 and a .blp file. :D |

can u please explain how to do it? I dont know what to use or how to use it in order to create blp files, and WinMPQ is very confusing. |

You need a program called Image Extractor 2 to convert .tga files to .blp files. You can probably download it at any WC3 map editing site, but if you can't find it, look it up on a search engine. Once you got your minimap in .blp form, open up your map in WinMPQ, goto "Import File", select your minimap, and you're done. |
