Anyone Have a list of Pathfiles for the "new" TFT units?

Hey wassup all.

I been searching around the site for a while now and I cant seem to find any sort of pathfile list for the new TFT characters, nor the ones I am looking for specifically.

I just got TFT and searching in listview in Image Extractor is killin me. Figures I would happen to want to work on the files with ****ed up names..I will eventually find them, just hoping to speed up the process a lil hopefully..

Anyways.. I mainly need the Warden, and Locust pathfiles, and if anyone happens to know of a list somewhere that has all the TFT unit pathfiles, that'd be great too.

get winmpq, open the tft war3x.mpq and look there...

Well, Blizzard's naming convention strikes again!

Sometimes I wonder what the hell they were thinking with some of the texture names and locations.

Anyway, the Warden Hero skin is kept in the Textures folder under the name IronRaven.blp.

I'm not quite sure about the Locusts, though, but I'll keep looking.

I think I'll put together a file path faq sometime for TFT.

Anyway, hope that helps for now!

As said in the other thread you can use W3V to look for the model and then show the used textures. Just don't be lazy and look up for it.

Thanks John. Great help. As far as the other stuff.. I'm not asking how to get to them, I was asking for names, but i'll check out the viewer I guess.

Going list view and clicking every single .blp in image extractor before I asked here was hardly lazy.. but meh.. thnx john. A faq would be great if it can be done. I'll make notes on whats what as I tool around some more.

Prolly common knowledge to most, but I just got TFT and it seems almost everything I've gone after so far has had a fuxed name.. as above the tentacle used in summon tentacle, which is called tentacle in WE is actually Forgottenone.blp etc...

It comes with a FAQ. Press Crtl + F to open it.

must not have not understand my question slowpoke, or I did not word it well enough. You can search all u want, but if your not seaching for the correct .blp your not gonna find anything.

I.E. you search for Warden, you get nothing, you search for tentacle, you get.. you guessed it, nothing! Hey, lets search for Locust.. oh look.. nothing!

I was looking with list view because my searches were coming up with no results. Not because I don't know how to use search...

anywayz..I assumed since TFT has been out a while, someone around here made a listfile of the paths for the TFT units.

There are tons of skin and models. The guy must really wish to do that in order to make it.

Right.. so basicaly the point of this forum is to add to post counts, insult peoples work and act like I know everything. Gotcha

1st - This forum doesn't add post counts as you can see.
2nd - Can you tell me where did I insult you?
3rd - I don't know everthing and will never know it. I try to help people but some don't understand some things. All the models are there, and you must look for them if you can't find it via search.

Conclusion: You're being too dramatic for nothing.

1st- You completely mis understood my question

3rd- Your post was condescending. Instead of reading my post completely you just assume Im some random noob that doesn't know how to use a search feature, which in itself is insulting.
4th- Don't Insult me and then come at me with the " Your being too dramatic crap" You cannot hide behind blanket statements like that.
5th-Your response was not needed. John had already answered my question, yet you felt the need to barge in with absolutely no help whatsoever and ruin this thread.

I know deep down inside you truly feel and believe you are superior to the other folks in this forum, and I really don't have a problem with it or care. But if you bring that attitude into my threads I am going to call you on it, plain and simple.

And it's not about the search feature, but it was about the right click the model and look for the textures' paths. And I never assume anything, you guys do, and do a lot. And I read posts with questions toroughly.

are you looking in the war3x.mpq directory? if not that might be the problem...

Oh my god, when someone tells me to look for textures instead of flooding the forums with spam asking for where they are instead of just browsing, that's extremely insulting! Not to mention that I could have just extracted the .mdx and converted it to an .mdl to look for the texturepath!
