UMSWE Logo Contest

The UMSWE Team (Scio and I) is proud to announce the UMSWE Logo Contest. Now you can contribute to UMSWE apart from making suggestions what we shall add. Design a logo, which is 512x256 pixels big. You can design it as you wish, the only requirement is the text (in any way, it has only to be readable easily) "UMSWE". We haven't completed UMSWE 4.0 anyway, so for now, I won't set a deadline. But try to complete your image quite soon, as the development of UMSWe 4.0 is in it's final stages and we want to make a poll about the logo too. When you have created your logo (it should be high quality, don't save it as JPEG), create a small banner (88x33) for the website too. An example is the image in both Scio's and my signature. Put both the big logo and the site banner into an archive (ZIP or RAR are preferred) and post it here as an attachment (or put it on some webspace if you have one).

Preferred file Format:
Logo: TGA (24 bit/32 bit without RLE compression, alpha channel is NOT needed), 512x256 pixels
Banner: GIF (Indexed Color), 88x33 pixels (or similiar)

Hey Scio, thats a JPEG. Have you a version without JPEG compression (for better quality).

yea but tga's dont show up in IE. I have the tga saved to my HD

Can you remove the text "Created by Scio"? Up to version 3.6 this is correct, but for the following versions the UMSWE TEAM (Scio and me) is responsible for the development of UMSWE.
And is it very bad for you to not include your own name?

The one whose logo will be used will get some credit (an entry in the readme file). Don't ask if your logo will be used. I can only tell you, that you WILL be informed and you WILL be mentioned in the readme.

KDE, I have to agree with scfreak. Im not the only one involved with UMSWE anymore. And if possible remove the name, although i dont mind it. Ok I think about 2 or 3 more and we will vote/decide on a logo
