I'm trying to do some skinning for a map I'm creating, but I can't seem to get Image Extractor II working. When I try to run the program, I get an error message reading: "Component 'mscomctl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." Any idea what might be causing this problem and/or how to fix it. I tried downloading an installing Visual Basic 6.0, but it didn't do me any good. Thanks for the help. EDIT: Sorry for cluttering up the board; the fix is simple. If anyone else ever has this problem, just search for and download mscomctl.ocx to Windows/System32, go to 'Run' and type: 'Regsvr32.exe mscomctl.ocx' Voila! |

Or, you could just go download the Visual Basic Runtime Files, like the readme TELLS you to. |

As I stated in my post, I had already tried that (because the readme TOLD me to). The problem isn't with Visual Basic. It's an apparent glitch with some copies of Windows in which mscomctl.ocx isn't installed when you install Windows. Visual Basic was created assuming that you'd have that file, and, therefor, doesn't install it. |

Search in Google for it. I'm sure you'll find it in some system files sites. |
