I searched all over the forums and I didn't find nothing that answer my question. How can I make work the models with the new object editor from TFT? I import the .mdx and the .blp files, but when I try to put the unit in the map, I get only a big green-black squared cube. Why? What I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance. |

you need to make sure that the path to the texture is right in the importer |

Thank you nicoli but I think that I should explain the whole problem: I'm trying to give to the orc Shaman a new skin. I extracted the shaman.blp and edited it with Paintshop 7. Then hex-edited the shaman.mdx to change the path to "units\orc\shaman\shamam.blp" and rename the file as "Shamam.mdx". Converted the .mdx to "Shamam.mdl", then imported all three files to a map. Changed the paths: units\orc\shaman\shamam.blp units\orc\shaman\shamam.mdl units\orc\shaman\shamam.mdx It doesn't work already. What's wrong? |
