I want to create a melee type of ai for my new races, the burning legion and naga which is very simular to the normal melee ai. Should I use .ai scripting or use the ai editor... which would be faster? easier and better to use? |

If you dont know jass use the AI editor, it is fast and easy. |

Ok question about the ai editor... I have a ton of custom units and have loaded up my all object data in the ai editor to have access to to my custom stuff, two things though... How do you select a hero that is in the Campaign area of the unit editor... Like Campaign heroes. And at level 11 your able to level up your ultimate skill to level 2... But there are only 10 slots for hero skill learning in the ai editor. Can I get an 11th? |

If you have such special things it is probably easier and more powerful to script it directly. The AI editor is rather limited. |

For what you want to do, i think you should first create an ia with the TFT AI editor and then you could improve it with JASS scripting... The AI can recognize new units, but you have to indicate him which they are... I can create an ia for you if you want, but i'll need all your new units in a map... Hope i helped you @+ |
