Custom ability using submerge

I create a undead unit that has the abilities to submerge.

At the editor I create a custom ability for the undead. In the game, the undead unit can submerge, but upon submerging, it is unable to surface as the button for submerge is gone.

As for the those Naga unit which has the submerge ability, a surface button will replace the submerge when the unit is submerge.:D

How to remedy?

Does the submerge ability the undead unit has have a "turn off" icon?

If you mean the
Art - Icon - Normal Submerge (Myrmidon) <Normal>, Submerge (Royal Guard) <Normal>, ...
Art - Icon - Turn Off Submerge (Myrmidon) <Turn Off>, Submerge (Royal Guard) <Turn Off>, ...

I'm using the default!

did you create a undeadunit (submerged) unit that the undead unit turns into when it submerges. And does this submerged unit have the Submerge ability?

As the custom ability is based on submerge ability, the undead unit that has this ability should be able to submerge and surface!

But I notice something is that the data field is not copy to the custom ability when using neutral(or naga) ability!

Make 2 units,

One when it's on the surface,

And another (Immobile one, unless you want submarines or something) when it's submeged.

One of the WE options in the unit editor makes one state go to another. Set them. (Don't exactly remember the keys)
