I can't figure out how to do this, I've been searching all the .TXT, .SLK files in the MPQ, and everywhere in the TFTWE, and I can't find out how to change the descriptions. Here's the problem. In my map, I'm making completely custom armor and attack types, and I have a certain type called Stone. Now, I can change the image and damage done and everything just fine, but then when I go in-game and check, it says "Heavy Armor takes extra damage from Magic Attacks", which doesn't fit in at all because it's not heavy armor and it takes 0% damage from Magic Attacks. Does anyone know how I'm supposed to change this? I know it's possible because I've seen it done before, I just don't know how to do it. |

I think we need to import some .txt files, cause i also want to change the txt, and the one of the resource, but, its not in the editor -_-... Maybe if you look in the .mpq and found some .txt related to armor text... |

um, so, is it possible to replace it with the import manager? i personally don't go delving into the mpq so if its in a file i don't have the format to, i won't be able to test it Quote:
um, drider, do you realize that, by saying that, you actually would have classified as spamming more than me because you have a huge signature? be less uptight there |

The irony of that post is funny... And I checked the .fdf files and I found it, thanks a lot for the help! :D |

Not to my knowledge, I had to search around the MPQ a bit to find the files I wanted, and I'm pretty sure you can't change it with the import manager, but you can change it with a program such as Wordpad or Notepad. Also, another quick question, if I change the Armor and weapon descriptions, will the map work on Bnet? And if so, what do I do to save it? I've tried putting it in the script, but every time I try to save it, it crashes, and I'm not sure if it'll work if I try to import it... anybody have any insight on this issue? |

LoL, yes, but BoZo gave the answer I needed, and Drider said "Don't spam" while he has a bigger signature, was spamming, himself... wouldn't that make him a hypocrite? ;) |
