Guest | One of the most glaring imbalances in War3 is that of agility adding to damage AND attack speed. Str only HP, intell only mana and rate of regen (actually balanced i believe). When agility starts creeping ove 60 in hero arenas and and Team fortress matches the power that blademasters and DH's enjoy is startling. So i jsut want to cut out the main problem at the source, kill the damage add so damage cant get over 100+ with 1 second and under cooldown. I just want to make my Fav Team Fortress map balanced, Hero Team Fortress CTF v7.3 by Maegus. Anyone have any idea? I know its possible too, either by editing the hero or the atribute itself. |

I dunno of any way to do this off hand, people have the same problem with heroes being able to regen health. There's a set hero agility action (custom text only or GoldenUrg's patch), and if you knew the formula, you could compensate for the agility going up when they level by jsut setting back down one. |

You could switch them to str primary stat to counter act it being too effective. But if Primary stat is agility it really increases the fighting potentional of the hero. As it increases armor amount lowers cooldown and increases damage. |

Guest | What effect does it have if you set something to be a primary stat anyway? |

Guest | Thats the thing though, I dont want to have to cop out and just kill agility. I just boosted the abilties of Str based heros, upped the cost of +2 agility tomes by 1/3. The real killer was the DH in Metamorphysis form, it would deal chaos AoE damage to towers and just reck them...not very balanced when towers cost a fortune compared to some agility tomes and a lvl 6+ DH (50k for 10 arrow towers, 20kish for enough tomes to create a god) The BM with critical strike wasnt cool, dishing out 615 criticals with a 1/1 attack rate. **** that! Thanks for the reply, I think Ill email that one guy who did it, Smallz, he altered it and may help you guys out too. |

When the primary stat increases, the damage you make increases. For normal heroes the damage won't increase if they have more agility. Only for ones that have agility as primary stat. If a wizard learns intelligence, his damage goes up, too. |
