I am making a map where I have a good number of items that I want 1 specific vendor to sell. Specifically, 12 items. Problem is, if I want the vendor to actually be able to sell the items, 1 of the 12 slots in the UI is taken up by that silly blue arrows button, and thus, I can only sell 11. Is there any way I can get rid of that damn Select Hero button? I don't need it, just the functionality its affiliated ability provided. Many thanks. |

Remove the ShopSharing Ability of the Shop in the Object Editor. |

I tried that. If the shop is neutral (neutral shops actually use Select Hero, not Shop Sharing) the option to buy from the vendor is lost. If it is a player-owned shop (what shop sharing is actually used for, this simply doesn't fit my intentions, but I tried it anyway), the shop simply drops the item on the floor, and not in the buyer's inventory. Thank you for the prompt response, but I need a different solution. |

Have you tried giving the Ability another Position in the Matrix? I don´t know if you can change the matrix position of the items, if so you could try to push the ability button over the edge. |

That silly blue button overrides just about everything. Nothing afaik can take it out of its position. Even recoding the various shop abilities doesnt work. Heck, the abilities dont even have a reference to the 2 blue arrows button. In the editor, the graphic for their icons is a single red question mark. I suspect the information for that is kept elsewhere. I either need to figure out how to vend items the pre 1.10/War3x way, or pray that the reference to the blue arrows is held in some file that I can replace for this particular map. |
