Yea my map idea was similar. Basically it was an Open RPG with quests, and the quests would act like other games. Games like AoS, TD, Tag, just playing old kill the big monster(like in RPGs) They would be linked together through a quest generator that would run the story of the Open RPG periodically. Something like Team ! wins quest 1 wait (time) run quest 2a if team 2 won run quest 2b. I was going to make about a 4 quest system like that.(16 total) Of course besides the quest generator mine would have open RPG aspects like I'm thinking hidden characters, random quests,and maybe an activity type thing like fishing or hunting. It's all in the preliminary now. After all I'm still creating the terrain. I like your idea though, mainly since it so much resembles my own. Maybe we could collaborate.
