Should I go public?

I have a unprotector that works on about 90 percent of protections and i donno if i should go public with it vote!!! :nono: :D

No you should not. There is a map PROTECTOR for a reason. It probably converts the triggers to Custom Script anyways...

personally i would like to see it go public.
Not so peeps can steal maps,
But as a new mapper, being able to see how others make use
of triggers and scripts is invaluable!
I vote to share the knowledge.
Yes i know peeps will edit a map but (so what) before protectors I never played versions that sucked anyway. Its kinda obvious which ones these are.
The more important issue is making maps available to the community, these are not copyrighted maps that need to be secured.

And unprotecting maps with only Jass scripts left is pointless unless you understand Jass.

i make it so the protecting is gone and i say most of the time it works becuase iff you use a password protect i cant undo that yet and mabye apon request ill host it

so it cant crack password protected map?

Then it won't be of use because everyone who reads this posts knows to protect their maps with a password.

Not cool, people spend weeks creating their maps. They dont need some 12 year old kid who found a map unprotector opening their map and editing it so that theres a "digimon" edition and wiping their name all over it. That's BullSh^_^. Thx.

i already have a map protector that works, i found it in the forums a long time ago...... its nothing new, i use it just to view maps triggers and stuff even in custom text, it helps sometimes

Definately a no-no. Do not make it public.....please for the sake of the people who spend countless hours figuring out things, just keep it to yourself. Being able to open up maps, would just make huge confusion and make everyone feel like a "pro" because they ganked someones ideas. Argh, if someone gets into one of my maps.....there'll be a lawsuit.... >_<

Are you posting here just for the reason to harass us?

Well, if you like to release your unprotector do it, By the time you do it I will make my Guide about how to make a trigger that makes the game to crash if the map's author is changed, let's see if a noob can crack it, without removing the triggers.
