Changing colors for abilities

If anyone could answer this it would ver grateful.........As did the people from tides of blood I also thought of using the moon shards as in ability for my hero,although I wanted to change the color of the infernal ball. How would I go about doing this?

Edit the .blp file for the infernal meteor.

ive tried doing that but the outer fire of the ball stays the same color how would I change that...just do the same thing?

You might need a new spell animation entirely for something like that. Litany from Tides of Blood made a new animation for the Moon Shards attack and made the burning meteor into an icy ball that spawns an ice infernal when used, or so I think, I'm not quite sure, but you might ask him at www.tidesofblood.com and e-mail him about it or something.
