So I was testing out my RPG in single player mode when suddenly one of my heroes comes under constant and unavoidable attack from units that I cannot see or retaliate against. They kill him very quickly and leave the other heroes alone. He revives in place a short time later, and once again these attackers kill him again. There is nothing special about this hero that would make him a more viable target than the others, and this problem has only occured twice out of several tests. Anyone have a clue what causes it? |

There are lots of chances 1) You gave an enemy unit a wrong model 2) The hero has inmolation that has Self as target 3) Another hero has a negative aura that is (for evil reasons) working on allies. |

I doubt its any of those. There are audible sounds of the hero being hit, but keep in mind that it is only that one hero, and the other five are ignored by the unseen attackers. The auras and such all check out fine and haven't caused any problems in numerous other tests. |

check on the ground 4 shadows besides his own it could be caused by missing custom skins or incorrect paths 4 them w8 isnt that the same thing lol |

Check if your imported files have correct paths What happens after the hero dies? Do the attackers start to attack another hero? |

There are no custom skins or models. After the attacked hero dies the other 5 are ignored. About 10 seconds later the attacked hero will revive in his dying spot and he will be attacked again. I've checked for abnormal acquisition and attack ranges but nothing comes up. |

I don't have an answer to your problem but you could try to isolate the problem by adding a trigger that detects when the hero is attacked. Make the actions to create a new peasant at (Position of (Attacking Unit)), and then you will se where the offending unit is. You can use the trigger to display further information if you want, like the name of the offending unit. |

I am also curious to see who these "unseen attackers" turn out to be... |

did you give any unit REALLY long range and vision of the whole map? |

I'll try your suggestion Peppar. The only problem will be getting the problem to occur again, since it has only happened twice in several tests. No, there are no units with abnormally long range/vision. |
