forked lightning art

how can i change the bolt graphic of forked lightning? is it in the lightningData.slk? if so, what is it's name?

By change art u could mean 2 things...

1) change the actual effect generated

2) change just the BLP and thus the look of the forked and or color.

to answer #2 just change the file ReplaceableTextures\Weathere\LightningForked.blp

to change the Chain lightning file that is:
ReplaceableTextures\Weathere\Lightning.blp

to change the Finger of death:
ReplaceableTextures\Weathere\LightningRed.blp

to answer #1 you cant really because the MDL for the actual LIGHTNING appears to be non existant, and thus as far as I can tell is hard coded. This was also true for the Chain Lightning and some of the other lightning effects.

So you can change the look and feel of the lightning but not the actual EFFECT.

There are alot of files around that LOOK like the real file but they are all red herrings.
