Power Ups, and Usable Unit Inventories

I just discovered, that having usable unit inventories, and then using powerups relating to hero attributes, causes the game to crash.

I'd like to set it up so that only the heros can use power ups.....

I know I can set item use up with triggers to reset the previous state and to remove the items.

As all hero related powerups will be sold by shops, is it possible to have a shop that will only enable the user to select the hero?

Any thoughts on the matter appreicated.

sorry to do that, but i posted it at like 6am UK time, probably when most ppl where in bed.

Still looking for advice on this. Deffinitely interested in the select only Hero ability for a shop.

Any ideas?

Maybe make a region around the shop that only heroes can enter?

Could work, but i was looking for a more elegant solution.

I'm debating boycotting powerup items, and making them usable instead. Then have all non hero units drop them upon aquisition.

The only powerups i'll really need is gold and possibly lumber, the rest are just going to be largely irrelivant. Not going to have tombs in the game anyway, they just tend to get abused, I want people to spend money on units, and unit equipment.

you may make the items no droppable, and I think since TFT shops have the ability to Select Hero as well as Select Unit. Delete the second one from the shop abilities table, and that's it. If a hero buys it, he can't give it to someone else, and only heroes can buy it.
