What could you cram into ten minutes, even harder 20, but the idea is good, But you would want to know what to do first. such as, like a cinematic? for what? Other than that good idea. |

Guest | I just recently posted a cinamatic I made on WC3Campaignes. It doesn't have any custom sounds but never-the-less I think I did a good job. Many that I have ask to watch it said it was AWESOME. It has a running time of about 30 mins. I haven't seen it posted yet, but I just submitted it yesterday. Grab if you want. Check it out! Guest | first of all, dialogues have some wait time, which is VERY annoying, since you have to wait an extra 4 to 6 seconds every time someone talks to get on to the next action or speech. cameras sometimes, especially in the beginning, dont give the user centered view on the characters (rather they are in a corner of the screen) bad grammar in dialogues makes the overall feel of the map unrealistic wayyyy too long, no skip sequence = sleep the reason why blizzard has short cut scenes in the beginning of each map is so that the user wont get tired of them...youll control the units eventually. in this cinematic, you know youll never get a chance to move everything around...so all you do is sit and watch, fun if thats what you want to do, but what if you want to stop it? cant be done as it stands now. just work on those things and itll be much better |

Guest | one way to make it is like making a movie from a real movie copying the story plot and everything but it take more than that the camera stuff will oready kill you =) i try it trust me its harder than you can think but for 20 minutes , trust me 1 person work on their speech , 1 work on camera then the plot |

Guest | Well, I and my friend sometimes makes maps on our sparetime, so I know the Cameras as well as my own shoe. I would be happy to Cooperate in this projekt, even thought I don't belive that the final map will be very good. Hey, propably you're doing it just for fun, or? Well...now that school has started i'll be on my comp a less so i need a guy working on it till friday...i got some other people who are gonna help but i'll contact you if i can get a spot in for you...and this is part fun/serious. i want this to be a awsom movie! I'm working hard on it. |
