Howdy, I followed the steps in Pencilgod's tutorial for skinning and created a new blp (which I'll attach). When I load my map in the editor the new skin appears on the unit, but in game (when playing) the old skin is there instead. I think I missed a step or did something wrong....can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Did you import them ? in editor load up Import manager. Now click import, then import your file.Double click the file then check the box that says custom file path this one is a little different type it as textures\bloodelf-thief.blp Now click test map it should come up. |

The skin now appears in the map, but I have a follow-up question. It tints it based on the player number, and I'd like it not to do that. I selected "allow custom team color" and set the color to neutral hostile. That fixed the tinting when I place units in the editor. Unfortunately, in game when I create new units of that type I still get the player tinting. Any way around this? |

That Team color you need to edit the "Alpha channel" to get rid of it. There are tutorials on it. ITS REALLY EASY! you just click layers Alpha Channel then turn the black spots on team color white. I could do it if you want but dont expect me to always do it :P |

I got it done, after some trial and error. It looks great! The spellbreaker in all white with gold trim. Very classy. Thanks again for the help. |
