First of all, is it worth it? How much does it compress if you convert from tga to blp? Mainly, I used Paint Shop Pro 7 to convert it, but the WC3 Image ?Extractor 2 says that the selected conversion type is not supported. WTF? How do I fix? Also, it won't show any of the .blp files already in the directory. It says it's because of 'Something Wierd'. Why? |

I dunno if its worth it, my map sky rocketed to 1mb with blp compression too and i dont kno if i need it. Tga it would be almost 2mb. If the map is good enough you should have it to make it seem cooler. Make sure u save the blp in 32bit format and i dont kno y it wont show any other blp's. Send me the picture and i can convert it to blp if u want. |

Thanks for the help! And, Nemesis9x, I cut down the size created by the images A HUGE AMMOUNT by converting them to an optomised jpg before making them a tga file. :D EDIT: OUCH! Even though those .jpg files looked fine, they REALLY mess up the overall image, even when used on 100 quality with the blp. Is there any way to use a different file format? If not, someone greatly needs to program something that will allow it! |
